The Emma Yates Memorial Library was once the home and milliner of Miss Emma Yates (1869 – 1954).

The library is open Monday to Friday from 12noon until 5pm.

The library carries a great selection of books for all ages. Authors include John Grisham, Fern Michaels, Debbie MaComber and Karen Kingsbury. You’ll also find a wide selection of Christian Inspirational books as well as those on large print.

The Emma Yates Memorial Library is seeking donations of any books related to the “History of Pocahontas”, as well as Pocahontas High School yearbooks.

The library will accept donations of any kind of media.
